The authentic taste of southern Italy
Fanuli Group is based in Salento, a macro area of the Apulia region that represents the most a southeastern Italy, encompassing the entire province of Lecce and parts of the provinces of Brindisi and Taranto. Washed by the Adriatic Sea to the east and the Ionian Sea to the west, Salento is a very sunny area, whose Mediterranean climate is characterized by long, hot summers and constant sea breezes that, constantly blowing over the vineyards, contribute to the healthiness of the grapes with their natural anti-parasitic action.

The 3 main stages
Viticulture requires great care and attention during the three main stages to ensure the quality of the grapes and, consequently, the wine produced. Fanuli Group is committed to following these processes with the utmost care and attention to produce high quality grapes for its customers.

Pruning
Pruning is the first stage of the vine growing process, which takes place during the winter. During this stage, vines are trimmed in order to concentrate their energy in the remaining parts and regulate their future development.

Flowering
Flowering is the stage when vines produce their flowers, which are then transformed into fruit. This stage occurs in the spring and is a crucial time for cultivation, as it determines the quantity and quality of the grapes that will be harvested in the future.

Collection
Harvesting is the last stage of the grape growing process and takes place in the fall. During this stage, the grapes are harvested by hand or with the help of special machinery, and are taken to the winery to be processed into wine.

Cutting-edge technologies
We were among the first to adopt the integrated viticulture, an approach that aims to reduce the use of chemicals and minimize the environmental impact of winemaking activities.
In addition, through the use of monitoring stations, we are able to collect a vast amount of data on our vineyards. They are analyzed in real timeby an algorithm that allows us to obtain detailed information about conditions so that we can prevent problems and take timely action.
The transition to integrated viticulture and the use of monitoring units are just a few examples of how Fanuli Group stays abreast of the latest innovations in the industry, while never losing sight of our philosophy of producing high-quality grapes while respecting the environment and the land.
